How to delete your data
You can ask us to delete your information at any time, whether you are the business using Crysea or someone who wrote to the WhatsApp of a business that uses Crysea. There is no charge and no need to explain why.
If you use the panel
You are a business with a Crysea account
- Open the panel and go to Business › Account.
- To delete one client only, open her in Clients and delete her: her data, notes and conversation are removed.
- To close the whole account, write to us from the account email and we delete it, with all its data, within a maximum of 30 days.
If you wrote to the business
You booked an appointment over WhatsApp
- Write "I want to delete my data" in the same WhatsApp conversation: the request is logged and passed to a person.
- You can also write directly to the email or WhatsApp number below.
- We ask for a minimal confirmation that it is you, then delete your name, number, address and conversation history.
Write to us to request deletion
Include the WhatsApp number or the email you registered with and the sentence "I request the deletion of my data". We confirm by the same channel.
What gets deleted
Name, WhatsApp number, address, notes, tags, appointment history and the content of the related conversations. For a business, also: its services, hours, team and assistant configuration.
What we may have to keep
Billing records and the minimum data the law requires us to retain for accounting purposes or to handle a claim. That information is kept separate and is not used for anything else.
How long it takes
We confirm the request within a maximum of 15 business days and complete the deletion within a maximum of 30 days. Backups are overwritten within a further 60 days.
One thing to note
What gets deleted is the information held in Crysea. Messages saved on the business's phone or on yours, inside WhatsApp, are controlled by you from the app itself.
